Terms of use
Create, experiment,
respect the rights.
By using the Feat iOS/iPadOS app or web studio, you agree to these terms. Last updated: October 1, 2026.
1. What is Feat?
Feat's App Store app and web studio are creative tools for analyzing, arranging, blending, saving local projects, and exporting selected audio as WAV or social video. Feat is not a music catalog, licensing provider, or content-rights clearance service.
2. Content rights
You may add only audio that you own, have licensed, have explicit permission to use, or otherwise have a legal right to process. Technical access to a file does not grant permission to edit, publish, monetize, or share it.
You are responsible for obtaining every permission required for your output and its distribution. Do not use Feat to infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, personality, or privacy rights.
3. Free version
The Feat iOS app and public web beta are currently offered free of charge, without advertising or a mandatory watermark. Web-beta features may change, pause, or be removed. If paid features are introduced later, the price and terms will be shown before purchase; eligible digital features on iOS will follow Apple's applicable payment rules.
4. Intellectual property
Rights in imported content remain with you or the relevant rights holders. The Feat brand, interface, source code, template system, and original demo audio supplied with the product belong to the developer. They may not be copied, sold, or redistributed as part of another product without permission.
5. Outputs
Feat does not claim ownership of the WAV or social-video file it technically generates. Rights in the source works do not disappear, however. Check the required permissions before publishing or commercially using an output. The optional “Made with Feat” badge does not provide a content license.
6. Quality, local storage, and availability
BPM, key, section detection, and vocal/instrumental separation are estimates. Performance varies with the source, connection, device, and service capacity. High-quality separation may be temporarily unavailable or subject to an hourly limit. Feat does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular commercial purpose, or identical quality for every file.
Projects and source copies are stored locally on your device or in browser storage. Keep separate backups of important original files and exports. Clearing site data, deleting the app, deleting a project, or losing the device can remove local work that was not copied elsewhere.
7. Third-party sources
The App Store build does not download audio from YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, or another third-party service. You add files through Apple's system file picker. Having a file on your device does not grant the right to use, transform, or publish it.
8. Misuse
Do not use Feat to bypass security measures, damage systems, generate automated abusive traffic, or prepare unlawful content. Access may be restricted in response to this type of misuse.
9. Privacy
Our audio and personal-data practices are described in the Feat Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and contact
These terms may change when the product or applicable law changes. The date of a material revision will be shown on this page. Questions can be sent to info@featstudio.app.
